Privacy
Likes Library stores the email address you register with, your X handle and display name, a salted password hash, login sessions, imported posts and authors, topics, import progress, and your subscription status. The website operator hosts this data.
Chrome extension
The extension only reads X pages after you grant X access. It detects your signed-in handle and display name to prefill your account. Post collection begins when you enable capture. It collects post IDs, text, author information, publication dates, and observed like or unlike events needed for your library. During a scan, it reads posts in the signed-in account’s likes page. It queues this data locally and uploads it over HTTPS to the website you explicitly connect. It does not request access to X passwords, session cookies, direct messages, or unrelated browsing history.
Connected services
If you connect the official X API, authorization tokens are encrypted in the operator’s database and used to import your likes. Stripe processes payments; this application does not receive your full card number. Account verification and password reset emails are sent through Brevo when configured, or the operator’s SMTP service. That provider receives your email address and the account email content. Loading author images may send a request to X’s image servers.
AI categorization
When you enable AI categories during signup or in Settings, the website sends imported post text and your topic labels to an external AI service to classify the content. We request that responses are not stored; the provider’s applicable data handling and retention policies still apply. Passwords, X authorization tokens, billing details and your email address are not included in categorization requests. You can disable AI processing at any time; already saved categories remain. A request already sent to the provider cannot be recalled.
Control and retention
You can pause browser capture, disconnect the extension, disable API sync, revoke devices, export your data, clear your library, or delete your account in Settings. Posts are retained until you clear them or delete your account. Expired sessions and temporary pairing tokens are removed automatically. Cancelling a subscription stops paid import access after the paid period and keeps your saved library readable. A site operator’s backups and payment provider records may follow separate retention periods.
